“Be cautious with introducing the Covid-19 tracking app”

Open HealthHub was in the national news today and yesterday about the possible introduction of a COVID-19 tracking app by the government:

FD: “Corona app threatens to fail due to rush by the government”

Within just four days, the government has cobbled together the foundation of an app to track the spread of the coronavirus. Minister of Health, Hugo de Jonge, wants to “tap into the brainpower of the Netherlands” with a lightning rod. But that could backfire, experts warn. The app could prove unreliable if too much focus is on the speed of the development over decent development and testing.
